saturday rush

waah, the saturday which was full of happiness and excitement and gatherings of great people.

first of in the morning, rushed to SIES TEACHERS DAY, in appreciation to the asatizahs of mosque madrasahs. around 400 teachers from 27 mosques came to gather at the Orchid Country Club. I was helping with the registration and met some familiar faces and friends….and some ehem ehem ustazs (sempat….;)). two of my students were the ushers, good job guys! amidst the happiness, i have to say, i was a bit disappointed that there’s only me represneting an-nahdhah mosque, the other asatizahs were not able to attend, out of circumstances or out of plain temperament. wallahu a’lam.

with me busy taking pictures, i forgot to take pictures of myself! haha.

right after registration closed, i had to rush to Sentuhan Ramadan -RYC launch at Sultan Mosque! here again, met some friends and aili was there, fana and fiza was there! so i didn’t feel left out..somehow..

i honestly felt i was glad to be in this circle. because i didn’t start out having an eagerness to mix with mosque people, you know what i mean? i dreamt i would be among the academics in some uni, like pursuing a masters degree in some university, or would be among colleagues of various races if i were to work in other government sectors or organizations. but i find myself here and doing what i’m doing now. and i never regret it.
it doesn’t pay much and tonnes of work, but being in these gatherings, and meeting friends and accomplices, it’s a nice feeling la! there’s always a hikmah.

i’ve uploaded many pics at other places, and at the moment, i don’t really have much patience to upload pics here, hehe. but please, do visit alivesg.multiply or invokesg.multiply to peek at some pics, ok!

but some pics i must post…just because i think they look nice~~

and also…this pic..:)

didicazli, whoever he is, not that i’m much of a fan but he sings good.

most importantly, RAMADHAN MUBARAK.
i’m taking this as a chance to turn a new leaf. to be a better person. and only He Knows how much i wanted this.

emails and emails

i have two active emails. one is dominantly used for msn and a whole lot of forwarded emails. unread most of them.

and there’s another email, which is the more important one. almost like a ‘working email’. and there’s 60+ email unread…yet..

sigh….bila nak game laaa…

anyway, i’d like to take this space to congratulate my alma-mater, a group of Al-Ma’arifians who participated in Yescom competition. CONGRATULATIONS FOR WINNING THE FIRST PRIZE!!!! when heard the news from Teach, i felt happy and proud that these young girls’ HARDWORK is paid off. They’ve created history. Good job babes!! :))

monday licence

lessons after lessons, and final two lessons back to back after work. and the utter nervousness i felt since last saturday, and i truly know now how it felt when you say ‘you have butterflies in your stomach’. and believe me, you do.feel.butterflies.
wake up too early just because i couldn;t really sleep for the test was haunting me.

and all the way to the driving school…all the ‘wasiats’ my previous instructors have given me reeling through my mind. recalling immediate failures so that i won’t do them. remembering all the tips i’ve learnt. my Lord, i’m screaming inside!!

throughout warm up, i was just praying i won’t get my nervous breakdowns. tak pernah seumur hidup nervous macamni!!! not even during O levels, A levels, my Uni exams!
grateful to my friend Hamzah whose an instructor himself, and motivated me all the way…

and all not wasted!! i’m certified and licensed and legal now to DRIVE!!!! i’m still glowing because honestly, half way through the test, i knew i made mistakes, and vertical parking was nerve wrecking!! i was so sure i was going to fail!!

but those were…small mistakes…and right after the Traffic Police Tester explained my mistakes…he casually remarked…YOU PASSED. i was dumbfounded!!
and then i was smiling practically to everyone!! and congratulating those who passed the test when we met at this Video room.

that’s one thing… they give us the licence, and then they scare us 😉

is this for real??!!! :)))
YEY!!! YEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEYEY!!!!!!!!

YEYEYEYEYEYEYE!!!!!

IIUM new Convo robe

for the benefit of my friends, who most of them will be graduating this coming August. i found this article in Kosmo! online issue.

this is the robe you guys will be wearing!!! nice ah! and it’s in blue, my fave colour!!
and what they meant by ‘hood’ is actually the ribbon which will be worn together with the robe, from the picture, you see, right the different colours, there’s red, yellow and blue. that’s the hood la.

any ways….i still love the past convo robe!! it has this exclusive feeling to the robe. *selamat beli* simpan jadi kenangan seh~ :))

hehe, korang excited??! kita pun ikut excited!
there’s a link on the title to the actual post.

25

i turned 25 today!!

i’m warmed by the thoughts and wishes from friends near and far, the girls and sisters. terharu laaa sehhh. :))

however the day was a mix of emotions, really. happiness, melancholy, gratitude, and if i may say, even sadness. and honestly, i can’t quite put what is it that cause me to be so messed up.

oh maybe i was, yes, sick…again…

all the same, 25 is so overwhelming!!! there’s still so much i have yet to achieve!!
So i pray to my Lord, to grant me a longer life, a better health, so that i may achieve these dreams…and as everyone aspires, be a better muslim all the way…

i feel blessed that this year my birthday falls on this noble month of Rejab.
May Allah grant my prayers, bless my family and friends. may we all live today to be granted a life in the hereafter. Insya Allah. Amiin.
