“Books have given me the comfort and a sanctuary, a form of sanity lost in another world when life is a bit too hard to handle. I come back to the real world, alive.”

Reading is my life. Reading has always been my sanctuary. The libraries my mother and me visited formed a substantial part of my childhood memories. The genres of books i read may have changed throughout the years. loving fantasy, supernatural and godly myths and legends in my teens. some of the classics, that formed my basic literary education and dreams of writing a book one day, as everybody else probably. i read about religions and Islam, more academic stuffs during Uni years (and still is). love reading anything related in the education line and self development. haruki murakami, jodi picoult, khaled hosseini, patti smith, paulo coelho seems to be a staple for two decades now. i lean towards reading Man Booker Prize books. my reading portfolio is a never ending project. i am guilty of being a book hoarder but please know i cannot help it.

im trying my hand at reviewing. although i am not good in reviewing authors’ writings whether they are good or not, i am more prone to do something like reflective review. what i felt about the book, what i learnt from it.

I am currently reading : Elizabeth Oliphant is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman.
