Haha…trendsetter again…well, I’m taking credit for most of the concept that saw in last night’s Intercultural performance among the mahallats. First and foremost, a little introduction on last night’s performance.

Every second semester, there’ll be this Inter mahallah’s programmes – arts competitions, sports, etc… and last night was intercultural competition…and I wouldn’t be interested in it but my cousin and friend entered the competition, so I went to give some support. And what’s more, there’s only me, mint, qadar, za and fita as supporters. There might be a few other singaporeans around but they couldn’t sit with us. And even qadar sat through halfway because she had to go home. So anyway, my cousin, aili and my friend shasha was in with their friends from their mahallah.

Ok this trendsetting concept…well, during last semester’s sisters’ cultural night, we singaporeans did something of an integration of hip hop and bollywood dancing which was the coolest and most colourful…well there were a lot of integrations of that kind last night…and we had this kind of doing wave at the end of the show, there were some last night, and the most surprising copycat thing: some girl strummed a guitar while some other two girls recited a poem..Oh My God!! What similarity!!! We did that too in OUR performance last semester!!! But ok, some comfort, this girl strummed pathetically, at least I know I did better!! hehe. Me and mint kept saying ‘same concept’ throughout the show…but of course, I know, good art will always be iconic. And I’m proud that people follow our idea…we are the trendsetters!!
