it took awhile for me to realise that the protagonist is suffering from a mental disorder. it was ok for me. i read on just to finish it. i feel it is just a flow of what happened in matthew’s life without any specific purpose. only towards the end that it was pretty touching with matthew’s earnestness to do a memorial for his brother.
